Job summary

WH Scott Group in London and the South East is seeking Multi-Skilled Engineers to attend breakdowns and service overhead gantry cranes and lifting equipment. You will support installation across the South East and work with electrical and mechanical systems to ensure top-quality maintenance.

The role requires maintenance experience, fault diagnosis ability, and a willingness to travel (25%). Overtime and on-call rota are available in a leading, dynamic industry.

Qualifications

• GCSE or equivalent (preferred).
• Minimum 1 year of maintenance experience (required).
• Experience with preventative maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment.

WH Scott Group, a market leader in the lifting equipment industry, is dedicated to delivering innovative solutions and exceptional service to clients across the South East. We are seeking highly skilled and motivated Multi-Skilled Engineers to join our dynamic team in London and South East area.

About The Role

As a Multi-Skilled Engineer, you will:

• Attend breakdowns, perform servicing, testing, and commissioning of overhead gantry cranes and associated lifting equipment.
• Support the installation of lifting equipment for a variety of customers across the South East.
• Work with electrical and mechanical systems to ensure the highest quality of maintenance and service.

What We're Looking For

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• Proven experience in preventative maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment, including fault diagnosis and troubleshooting.
• Electrical engineering expertise with a solid understanding of three-phase control systems.
• Mechanical experience with medium to large motors, electro-mechanical brakes, and reduction gearboxes.
• Familiarity with PLCs and inverter control systems (desirable but not essential).
• A valid driving license and a willingness to travel (25% travel required).
