Job summary

WH Scott Group in Bristol is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team. You will service and maintain overhead gantry cranes and lifting equipment, perform diagnostics, and support installation projects across the South East.

You should have proven maintenance experience, electrical and mechanical expertise, familiarity with PLCs, and a driving license with willingness to travel. The role is on-site with a competitive salary.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in preventative maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment.
• Electrical engineering expertise with three-phase control systems.
• Mechanical experience with motors, brakes and gearboxes.
• Familiarity with PLCs and inverter control systems (desirable).
• Valid driving license and willingness to travel (25% travel).

Responsibilities

• Attend breakdowns, perform servicing, testing, and commissioning of overhead gantry cranes and associated lifting equipment.
• Support the installation of lifting equipment for customers across the South East.
• Work with electrical and mechanical systems to ensure high quality maintenance and service.

About the Role

• Work with electrical and mechanical systems to ensure the highest quality of maintenance and service.

What We’re Looking For

To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

• Proven experiencein preventative maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment, including fault diagnosis and troubleshooting.
• Electrical engineering expertisewith a solid understanding of three-phase control systems.
• Mechanical experiencewith medium to large motors, electro-mechanical brakes, and reduction gearboxes.
• Familiarity withPLCs and inverter control systems(desirable but not essential).
• A validdriving licenseand a willingness to travel (25% travel required).
