Job summary

WH Scott Group is hiring Multi-Skilled Crane Engineers to service, test and commission overhead cranes across the North Wales and North East UK region. You will diagnose faults and perform preventative maintenance on electrical and mechanical lifting equipment, with a travel expectation of up to 25% to meet customer needs.

We are seeking highly skilled and motivated Multi-Skilled / Maintenance / Installation Crane Engineers to join our dynamic team, working the in North Wales and North East area.

About The Role

• Attend breakdowns, perform servicing, testing, and commissioning of overhead gantry cranes and associated lifting equipment.
• Support the installation of lifting equipment for a variety of customers across the North Wales / North East Area
• Work with electrical and mechanical systems to ensure the highest quality of maintenance and service.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in preventative maintenance and repairs on cranes/industrial equipment, including fault diagnosis and troubleshooting.
• Electrical engineering expertise with a solid understanding of three-phase control systems.
• Mechanical experience with medium to large motors, electro-mechanical brakes, and reduction gearboxes.
• Familiarity with PLCs and inverter control systems (desirable but not essential).
• A valid driving license and a willingness to travel (25% travel required).
