Job summary

NHS Property Services is seeking a Support Services Team Leader to oversee frontline Soft FM across Skipton sites, with Skipton General Hospital as the primary base. This is a mobile, hands-on leadership role requiring travel between sites.

You will plan workloads, supervise teams, recruit and train staff, and ensure high standards of service while maintaining safety and compliance across all locations. A full manual driving licence and DBS check are required; a company van will be provided and

Qualifications

• Experience supervising frontline teams.
• Healthcare environment preferred.
• Strong customer service and administrative skills.
• DBS check and full driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage time across multiple sites with hands-on support.
• Supervise frontline Soft FM colleagues across locations.
• Plan workloads, rotas and ensure high service standards.
• Build relationships with customers and respond to needs.
• Recruit, onboard, train, and appraise team performance.
• Complete admin tasks including timesheets, stock orders, audits and compliance.
• Monitor team performance and drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure work is completed safely and in line with standards.
