Job summary

Samworth Brothers is seeking a Category Engineering Planner to coordinate maintenance planning and CMMS management across our Leicester and Melton Mowbray sites. You will ensure data integrity, optimise maintenance schedules and support continuous improvement across two manufacturing locations.

You will analyse downtime trends, generate KPI reports, and collaborate with Engineering and Operations to drive safety, efficiency and compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in FMCG manufacturing maintenance.
• Proficient with CMMS and IT systems.
• Experience coordinating teams and stakeholders.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate preventive maintenance across two sites.
• Maintain CMMS data accuracy and integrity.
• Analyse downtime and KPI data for improvements.
• Prepare maintenance reports and dashboards.
• Support audit readiness and compliance activities.
