Samworth Brothers is seeking a Category Engineering Planner to coordinate maintenance planning and CMMS management across our Leicester and Melton Mowbray sites. You will ensure data integrity, optimise maintenance schedules and support continuous improvement across two manufacturing locations.
You will analyse downtime trends, generate KPI reports, and collaborate with Engineering and Operations to drive safety, efficiency and compliance.
As a Category Engineering Planner, you'll work closely with Engineering and Operations teams across both Saladworks and Kettleby Foods. The role requires regular travel between our Leicester (LE3) and Melton Mowbray (LE13) sites, with your time balanced across the week to ensure effective support, planning and collaboration across both manufacturing locations. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of maintenance planning, CMMS management, engineering compliance and performance improvement initiatives that help maximise equipment reliability and minimise downtime.
As Category Engineering Planner, you will be responsible for the effective planning, coordination and continuous improvement of engineering maintenance activities across both sites. You'll ensure the integrity and optimisation of the CMMS system, support preventative maintenance planning, analyse engineering performance data and play a key role in audit readiness and compliance activities.
