North Yorkshire Council is seeking an Estates Surveyor to join the Estates Management Function within Property Service. This hybrid role requires frequent travel around the County, with base at one of the NYC offices. RICS membership and experience in property/estate management are essential.

You will manage a diverse portfolio, including commercial and land assets, and support regeneration projects while working with partners to deliver smart, sustainable property management for the local area.

Qualifications

• Full RICS qualification and MRICS membership.
• Experience in property or estate management and portfolio oversight.

Responsabilités

• Manage leases, licenses and rights over Council land and property.
• Conduct property inspections and valuations using RICS standards.
• Support regeneration and development projects across the region.
• Maximise income from Council-owned commercial assets.
• Contribute to strategic property initiatives.
• Maintain accurate property data and risk registers.
• Liaise with consultants, developers and public bodies.
• Prepare reports for committees and funding bodies.
• Represent the Council at public and stakeholder events.
