Job summary

Veolia Group is recruiting for a Front Loading Shovel/Telehandler/360 Excavator operator at the Alton site in Hampshire. You will load waste and support site operations with routine maintenance and checks, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.

Telehandler and 360-degree Excavator to transport wasteRoutine maintenance of mobile plant and equipment, including oils and water checks and reporting defectsLiaise with site personnel, contractors, tipping authorities and members of the haulage departmentComplete machine/plant hours, defect sheets and other related paperworkEnsure that the correct waste types are accepted and any non conforming wastes are reported and dealt with accordinglyCarry out quality checks on the outgoing recycled material to ensure that it meets the market quality standardsEnsure that outgoing weights of recycled material are maximisedYou may be required by the Company to work at a different location than your normal place of work, from time to time, where it is reasonable and practical to do so.
