Job summary

Veolia Material Recovery Facility is recruiting for a 40-hour-per-week role at our Alton site. The position involves separating materials to meet required standards, hand-picking items off the conveyor, and performing plant cleaning duties. Attendance and contribution to operations are valued.

Allowance for overtime with time-and-a-half on weekdays and Saturdays, and double time on Sundays. Benefits include 20 days' leave, pension access, and training opportunities, with transport required due

• A UK driving licence and own transport is required due to location.

• Separating materials to meet the required standards.
• Hand picking individual materials off the conveyor belt.
• Undertaking cleaning duties within the plant.
• Providing cover when needed for other positions within the plant.

Job description

Salary: £12.71ph - £26,436.80 plus up to £1,469pa attendance bonus

Overtime is available - time & a half for weekdays & Saturdays. Double time for Sundays

Location: Veolia Material Recovery Facility, Farnham Road, Alton, Hampshire, GU34 4JD

Hours: 40 hours, rotating 2 week shift pattern - 6am-2.30pm and 2.30pm-11pm
