Job summary

CAE is seeking an MPL Training Manager to lead the delivery of CAE's MPL and easyJet training programmes at the London Gatwick Training Centre in Crawley. You will ensure training complies with ATO approvals, manuals, syllabi, SOPs, and customer requirements while coordinating with instructors, examiners, and standards personnel.

Qualifications

• ICAO-compliant pilot licence (ATPL/CPL/MPL) with instructor qualification is highly desirable.
• Experience delivering ATO training and supporting standardisation and governance.
• Background in MPL, ab initio training, CBTA or related pilot training environments.
• Knowledge of Part-FCL, Part-ORA, and instructor/examiner qualification controls.

Responsibilities

• Deliver MPL and easyJet platform training in compliance with approvals, manuals, syllabi, SOPs, and customer requirements.
• Oversee MPL courseware, lesson plans, grading forms, and student/instructor materials with document control.
• Monitor attendance, progress, grading quality, and training records for regulatory, graduation, and customer reporting.
• Coordinate instructors, examiners, and standards personnel to ensure qualified and current training staff.
• Support standardisation through briefings, recurrent training inputs, and governance updates.
• Identify and escalate safety, compliance, and performance concerns per governance processes.
• Convene or support Student Training Boards and progression reviews as needed.
• Act as operational liaison for customer training matters, including progress, SOP changes, and actions.
• Support induction and ongoing communication so MPL students understand expectations and contacts.
• Provide SME input for MPL training design, manual updates, and cross-centre standardisation.
