Job summary

CAE is delivering MPL and easyJet training at the London Gatwick Training Centre in Crawley, requiring a skilled MPL training supervisor to ensure compliant, safe, and effective training delivery with strong governance and stakeholder engagement.

The role reports to the Manager Training Services and collaborates with the Head of Training, CFI/Standards, and CAE network to support instructor development and programme excellence.

Qualifications

• Hold, or have held, an ICAO-compliant professional pilot licence (ATPL, CPL, MPL or equivalent) and instructor qualification appropriate to MPL training oversight.
• Experience in ATO training delivery and supporting instructor standardisation and training governance.
• Experience in MPL, ab initio training, CBTA or related pilot training environments.
• Knowledge of Part-FCL, Part-ORA, ATO manual requirements, and student progress governance.
• Experience maintaining training records and regulatory compliance.
• Experience collaborating with instructors, examiners, training administration, standards personnel, courseware teams, and customer airline representatives.

Responsibilities

• Deliver MPL and easyJet platform training activities in compliance with approvals, manuals, syllabi, SOPs, and customer requirements.
• Oversee MPL courseware, lesson plans, briefing materials, and assessment forms; escalate revisions as needed.
• Monitor attendance, progress, grading quality, and training records for regulatory and reporting purposes.
• Coordinate with instructors, examiners, and standards personnel to ensure qualification and currency for training activities.
• Support standardisation through briefings, recurrent training inputs, and regulatory/Courseware changes.
• Document and escalate safety, compliance, and performance concerns per governance processes.
• Convene or support Student Training Boards and progress reviews.
• Act as primary operational liaison for customer training matters including progress, welfare, and SOP changes.
• Assist induction and ongoing communication to ensure MPL students understand expectations and contacts.
• Provide SME input for MPL training design, manual updates, and cross-centre standardisation.
