CAE Inc at the London Gatwick Training Centre in Crawley seeks an MPL Training Manager to lead the delivery of CAE's MPL and easyJet training programmes. As the MPL Training Manager, you will play a pivotal role in delivering CAE's flagship Multi-Crew Pilot Licence (MPL) and easyJet training programmes at our London Gatwick Training Centre in Crawley. Responsible for the safe, compliant, and effective delivery of training activities, you will ensure programmes are delivered in line with applicable ATO approvals, approved manuals, syllabi, SOPs, customer requirements, and CAE training standards. Reporting to the Manager Training Services (MTS), you will work closely with the Head of Training, CFI/Standards function, Training Management and Administration teams, customer airline representatives, and colleagues across the CAE network to deliver an exceptional training experience and support the development of future airline pilots. Key responsibilities include: Ensure MPL and easyJet platform training activities are delivered in compliance with applicable ATO approvals, approved manuals, syllabi, SOPs, and customer requirements. Maintain oversight of assigned MPL courseware, lesson plans, briefing materials, grading forms, student-facing materials, and instructor-facing documentation, escalating revision requirements through established document control or courseware processes. Monitor student attendance, progress, grading quality, and training records to ensure records are accurate, complete, and suitable for regulatory, graduation, and customer reporting purposes. Coordinate with instructors, examiners, and standards personnel to ensure training personnel are appropriately qualified, authorised, standardised, and current for the training activity, approval, and customer programme. Support instructor and examiner standardisation through briefings, updates, recurrent training inputs, competency feedback trends, and communication of regulatory, courseware, or customer SOP changes. Identify, document, and elevate student progress concerns, training performance issues, safety concerns, compliance issues, and required remedial actions in accordance with ATO manuals and local governance processes. Convene or support Student Training Boards, progress reviews, and other governance forums where student progression requires formal review. Act as the primary operational liaison for assigned customer training matters, including student progress, welfare, courseware alignment, SOP changes, supporting materials, meeting actions, and issue tracking. Support student induction and ongoing communication to ensure MPL students understand training expectations, grading requirements, reporting routes, and key points of contact. Provide subject matter expertise for MPL training design, customer programme changes, manual updates, and cross‑centre standardisation activities. Act under delegated authority from the Manager Training Services and/or Head of Training to support compliant training delivery, governance, escalation, and customer programme oversight. Perform other reasonable duties required to support the safe, compliant, and effective delivery of MPL, easyJet platform, and related ATO training activities in line with CAE procedures, approved manuals, and business needs.
