Job summary

The Solution Auto in Wrexham is seeking a Motor Vehicle Technician to join a franchised dealership team. You will perform routine servicing, inspections, and use diagnostic equipment to ensure quality and compliance with manufacturer guidelines.

Ideal candidates hold a Level 3 in vehicle service and repair with at least 1 year of experience, plus strong communication and a valid driving licence. A £1,000 sign-on bonus is offered and the basic salary goes up to £40,000 with an OTE up to £46,500.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification or above in vehicle service and repair.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Vehicle Technician, preferably in a franchised dealership.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid driving licence and flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine service works and pre-delivery inspections per manufacturer guidelines.

Salary: Basic up to 40,000 OTE up to 46,500

What does the role entail:

• Conducting routine service works and pre-delivery inspections in line with manufacturer guidelines.
• Collaborating with the Workshop Controller to systematically work through assigned tasks.
• Communicating effectively with the front of house Service Advisor team to notify customers of any additional necessary repairs.
• Utilising diagnostic equipment to check service quality and perform road tests.
• Accurately completing all relevant service documentation and job cards, adhering to dealership and warranty requirements.

The ideal candidate:

• Level 3 qualification or above in vehicle service and repair.
• At least 1 year of experience as a Vehicle Technician, preferably within a franchised dealership.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate technical information clearly.
