Job summary

Allianz UK is seeking a Technical Pricing Manager for Direct Motor to lead a team of six and own the development and maintenance of pricing models. The role blends cutting-edge data science with GLM approaches to deliver market-leading capability.

You will collaborate with the central data team to ensure data quality, run regular model refreshes, and drive R&D to enhance processes and features across global pricing teams.

Qualifications

• Strong background in volume-lines technical pricing with ML and GLM knowledge.
• Business-minded with UK motor insurance experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management across UK and global business.
• Previous project management or steering experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical pricing team to develop and maintain the claim models for Direct Motor.
• Oversee GLM/GBM model refreshes and monitor performance to ensure accuracy.
• Collaborate with central data team to ensure high-quality modelling data.
• Drive R&D phases to improve processes, performance, and feature sets.
• Share expertise across Allianz pricing teams globally and learn from others.
