Job summary

Allianz UK is seeking a Retail Motor Technical Pricing Manager to lead a team of 6 FTE in developing and maintaining pricing models for Direct Motor, using GBM and GLM techniques to deliver market-leading pricing capability.

You will collaborate with the central data team to ensure high data quality and model refreshes, share expertise across global pricing teams, and work in a hybrid setup with 50% office attendance.

Qualifications

• Strong background in volume-lines technical pricing with GLM and ML.
• Experience in UK motor insurance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to lead and motivate a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 6 FTE in pricing model development and maintenance.
• Maintain and monitor pricing models underpinning £1bn+ of personal lines motor GWP across channels.
• Collaborate with central data team to ensure high data quality and modelling data needs are met.
• Lead regular GBM and GLM model refreshes and guide R&D to improve processes and features.
