Job summary

IPS Group is expanding its UK claims operation and seeks a Motor Claims Intervention Handler in Manchester. You will contact non-fault third parties after incidents, offering repairs and support before involving credit hire or solicitors.

The role is office-based during probation and becomes fully office-based with four days in the office after probation. You will review claims, assess liability, and negotiate with third parties to reduce costs while delivering excellent customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in Motor Claims handling, FNOL or Credit Hire is preferred.
• Knowledge of motor liability and claims handling principles is beneficial.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills are essential.
• Ability to manage tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Customer-focused approach with proactive problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Contact non-fault third parties immediately after a motor incident.
• Offer repair solutions, replacement vehicles and support services.
• Review newly reported claims and assess liability.
• Negotiate with third parties to achieve positive outcomes.
• Collaborate with repairers, engineers and suppliers to manage claims efficiently.
