Overview

Prospero Health and Social Care is currently recruiting experienced staff to support mother and babies in hospitals in the Wakefield area. We seek staff with a can-do attitude who are willing to go above and beyond for the children in their care.

Responsibilities
  • Support mother and baby care in hospital settings ( Wakefield area ).
  • Monitor and ensure proper provision of personal care for babies while on duty (note: you will not be providing personal care to babies).
  • Take and maintain notes; assist with supervision as required.
  • Maintain flexible availability, including weekends and night shifts when required.
  • Travel flexibility as needed.
Qualifications and Experience
  • 12 months paid experience within the health and social care sector.
  • Previous experience in a support worker or youth work role is essential; experience with babies is a plus.
  • Resilient and empathetic with a strong commitment to helping vulnerable people.
  • NVQ Level 3 in children and young people (desirable but not essential).
  • Social Care registered.
  • Driving Licence (preferred).
Experience
  • Children and Young People Support: 1 year (required).
