Job summary

Octane Recruitment is seeking an experienced MOT Tester in Witney to join a reputable main dealer workshop. Responsibilities include performing MOT tests, advising customers on test outcomes, and ensuring compliance with safety standards in a professional environment.

The role offers a 4/5 day week option with no weekends, a base salary up to £37,000 plus bonus, with OTE £42,000+ and generous holiday and pension benefits. Training and progression are highlighted as key features.

Qualifications

• Relevant MOT testing qualification is required.
• Proven experience in MOT testing or similar role.
• Good working knowledge of vehicle diagnostics.
• Full UK driving license is required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out MOT tests on all vehicles booked in.
• Ensure compliance with all administration standards and procedures.
• Ensure work carried out meets MOT and manufacturers' safety standards.
• Advise customers on outcomes of tests and any required remedial work.
• Follow Health & Safety regulations.

MOT Tester Role

• Carry out MOT tests on all vehicles booked in.


• Ensure Manufacturer and Company compliance with all administration standards and procedure


• Ensure that all work carried out is to MOT and/or manufacturers' safety standards
