Job summary

Octane Recruitment in Witney is seeking an experienced MOT Tester to join a reputable main dealer. You will carry out MOT tests, ensure compliance with standards, and advise customers on required remedial work. A strong focus is on safety and quality across all inspections.

The role offers a 5-day week, training, modern facilities, and a supportive environment, with a salary up to £37,000 plus bonus (OTE £42,000+).

Qualifications

• Relevant MOT testing qualification.
• Proven experience in MOT testing or similar role.
• Full UK driving licence (no restrictions).

Responsibilities

• Carry out MOT tests on vehicles booked in.
• Ensure compliance with MOT and manufacturer safety standards in all work.
• Advise customers on test outcomes and required remedial work.
• Follow Health & Safety regulations.

MOT Tester Role

• Carry out MOT tests on all vehicles booked in.
• Ensure Manufacturer and Company compliance with all administration standards and procedure
• Ensure that all work carried out is to MOT and/or manufacturers' safety standards
• Advising customers on the outcome of their tests, and any remedial work that may be required
• Follow Health & Safety regulations

MOT Tester Requirements

• Relevant MOT testing qualification
• Proven experience of working in a similar role
• Full UK driving license
• Good working knowledge of vehicle diagnostics
