Job summary

Octane Recruitment in Witney is seeking an experienced MOT Tester to join a reputable main dealer. You will carry out MOT tests on all vehicles booked in and ensure compliance with Manufacturer and Company standards.

This role offers a 5-day week with Sundays and bank holidays off, a base salary up to £37,000 plus bonus, and potential to reach £42,000 OTE. Training and a supportive workshop environment are provided.

Qualifications

• MOT testing qualification required.
• Proven experience in a similar MOT testing role.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Good working knowledge of vehicle diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Carry out MOT tests on all vehicles booked in.
• Ensure compliance with MOT and manufacturers' safety standards.
• Ensure that all work carried out is to MOT and manufacturers' standards.
• Advise customers on outcomes of tests and required remedial work.
• Follow Health & Safety regulations.

MOT Tester Role

• Carry out MOT tests on all vehicles booked in.
• Ensure Manufacturer and Company compliance with all administration standards and procedure
• Ensure that all work carried out is to MOT and/or manufacturers' safety standards
• Advising customers on the outcome of their tests, and any remedial work that may be required
• Follow Health & Safety regulations
