Job summary

Octane Recruitment is seeking an experienced MOT Tester to join a long-established automotive group in Nottingham. The role offers stability, training support, and a positive workshop culture with a Monday–Friday schedule and occasional Saturday hours.

You will perform Class 4 & 7 MOT tests to DVSA standards, complete accurate documentation, and guide customers on repairs while maintaining high safety standards. A full UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• DVSA-approved MOT tester with Class 4 & 7 testing experience.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Experience in a busy workshop or autocentre.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Professional, customer-focused approach.
• Reliable, organised and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Class 4 & 7 MOT tests in line with DVSA standards.
• Complete MOT documentation accurately.
• Identify and report vehicle defects.

Nottingham

A long‑established automotive group is expanding across Nottingham and is looking for an experienced MOT Tester to join their growing team. With new sites recently opened and continued investment in people, training and facilities, this is an ideal opportunity for someone who wants stability, development and a positive workshop culture.

Working Hours

• Monday - Friday: 08:30 - 17:30
• Saturday (bi‑weekly): 08:30 - 13:00
• No Sundays or Bank Holidays
