Job summary

Octane Recruitment is seeking an experienced MOT Tester for a well established main dealer in Witney. You will carry out MOT tests on all vehicles booked in, ensuring compliance with manufacturer and company procedures and maintaining high safety standards.

Qualifications

• MOT testing qualification required.
• Proven MOT testing experience in a similar role.
• Good working knowledge of vehicle diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Carry out MOT tests on all vehicles booked in.
• Ensure compliance with administration standards and procedures.
• Ensure all work meets MOT and manufacturer safety standards.
• Advise customers on test outcomes and required remedial work.
• Follow Health & Safety regulations.

Salary: up to £37,000 basic per annum, plus bonus, OTE £42,000+

Hours: Option to do 4 / 5 day week with no weekends

MOT Tester Role

• Carry out MOT tests on all vehicles booked in.


• Ensure Manufacturer and Company compliance with all administration standards and procedure


• Ensure that all work carried out is to MOT and/or manufacturers' safety standards


• Advising customers on the outcome of their tests, and any remedial work that may be required


• Follow Health & Safety regulations

• Proven experience of working in a similar role
