Job summary

A national autocentre is seeking an experienced MOT Technician to join their established workshop team in Stoke-on-Trent. The role offers a basic salary of up to £34,000 with on-target earnings reaching £38,000. The ideal candidate will possess a Level 3 NVQ in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent, an active MOT Tester Licence, and a full UK driving licence. Responsibilities include carrying out servicing, repairs, and MOT tests to DVSA standards, along with diagnostic tasks. Competitive benefits and a structured working week are included.

• Active MOT Tester Licence (Class 4 & 7) required.
• Full UK Driving Licence essential.
• Hybrid/EV Qualifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Servicing & Repairs to Manufacturer Standards.
• Perform MOT Tests to DVSA standards.
• Conduct Cambelt, Clutch, Gearbox & Engine Repairs/Replacements.
• Execute Electrical & Mechanical Diagnostics.
• Perform New Car PDI’s & Used Car MPC’s.
• Handle Warranty Repairs.

Our client, a busy national autocentre in Talke have the requirement for an experienced MOT Technician to join their established workshop team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Servicing & Repairs to Manufacturer Standards
• Carry out MOT Tests to DVSA standards
• Cambelt, Clutch, Gearbox & Engine Repairs/Replacements
• Electrical & Mechanical Diagnostics
• Carry out New Car PDI’s & Used Car MPC’s
• Warranty Repairs

Experience, Skills & Qualifications

Essential Requirements
