Perfect Placement UK Ltd seeks an experienced MOT Technician for a busy Newark fast-fit centre. You will conduct MOT tests and carry out servicing, repairs and diagnostics with a focus on quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in automotive servicing and MOT testing.
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills relevant to MOT work.

Responsibilities

• Carry out MOT tests in line with DVSA requirements.
• Perform servicing, maintenance and repairs on various vehicles.
• Diagnose faults accurately and efficiently.
• Advise customers on repairs and vehicle conditions.
• Maintain thorough workshop records and documentation.
• Deliver high standard of customer service in a fast-paced workshop.
• Support team to meet MOT and repair targets.

Duties:

• - Conduct MOT tests in strict accordance with DVSA standards as an MOT Technician
• - Perform servicing, maintenance, and repairs on various vehicles
• - Diagnose faults accurately
• - Advise customers professionally on repairs and vehicle conditions
• - Maintain detailed job records and workshop documentation
• - Deliver excellent customer service as an MOT Technician
• - Work efficiently in a fast-paced workshop environment
• - Assist the team in achieving workshop targets related to MOT testing and repairs as an MOT Technician

Requirements:

• - Minimum of 2 years’ experience in automotive servicing and MOT testing
• - Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills suitable for an MOT Technician
• - Excellent communication and customer service skills
• - Ability to work independently and within a team as an MOT Technician
• - Full UK driving licence
