Job summary
KPI People Ltd seeks an experienced Vehicle Technician & MOT Tester for a Kingston franchise, offering a basic salary of £35,000 with OTE up to £65,000 DOE. Overtime is paid, and a comprehensive benefits package is provided.
Role covers servicing, MOT testing to DVSA standards, diagnostics, and warranty work in a busy workshop. Desirable: Hybrid/EV qualifications and manufacturer accreditations.
Qualifications
- Essential: Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance.
- Essential: Active MOT Tester Licence (Class 4 & 7).
- Essential: Full UK Driving Licence.
Responsibilities
- Carry out Servicing & Repairs to Manufacturer Standards.
- Carry out MOT Tests to DVSA standards.
- Cambelt, Clutch, Gearbox & Engine Repairs/Replacements.
- Electrical & Mechanical Diagnostics.
- Carry out New Car PDI’s & Used Car MPC’s.
- Warranty Repairs.

Our client, a busy Franchised Car Dealership in Kingston have the requirement for an experienced Vehicle Technician & MOT Tester to join their established workshop team
Vehicle Technician & MOT Tester responsibilities will include:
- Carry out Servicing & Repairs to Manufacturer Standards
- Carry out MOT Tests to DVSA standards
- Cambelt, Clutch, Gearbox & Engine Repairs/Replacements
- Electrical & Mechanical Diagnostics
- Carry out New Car PDI’s & Used Car MPC’s
- Warranty Repairs
Essential Requirements:
- Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance
- Active MOT Tester Licence (Class 4 & 7)
- Full UK Driving Licence
