Perfect Placement UK Ltd is recruiting an experienced MOT Technician for a busy Stockton workshop. You will perform repairs, routine servicing and DVSA-mandated MOT tests while delivering excellent customer service.

The role offers industry-leading training from day one, opportunities for progression into management within 12 months, and support to obtain your MOT licence if needed. A 5-day working week and employee discounts are included.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in light vehicle maintenance and repair.
• Class 4 and Class 7 MOT licence (or willing to obtain with employer support).
• Significant workshop experience with diagnostic and repair skills.
• Current UK driving licence.
• Strong attention to detail and able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repairs and routine servicing tasks.
• Conduct MOT tests according to DVSA standards.
• Complete diagnostic checks to identify faults promptly.
• Inspect vehicles for wear, damage and potential issues.
• Provide clear explanations of repair work to customers.

Duties as a MOT Technician:

Requirements:
