Job summary

Kensington Mortgages is seeking a field-based Business Development Manager for the North region with frequent UK travel. You will develop a regional panel of mortgage intermediaries, drive volume and quality, and manage relationships with IFAs and other intermediaries.

You will shape territory activity, use market insight to identify growth opportunities, and represent our brands at broker meetings, trade events and roadshows. A full driving licence and UK travel are required.

Qualifications

• Proven B2B sales experience in financial services with intermediaries.
• Experience managing IFA or intermediary trading relationships.
• Track record of selling to intermediaries and converting relationships into business.

Responsibilities

• Own and grow a regional panel of mortgage intermediaries, delivering against targets.
• Build productive relationships with brokers and become their go-to contact for products and services.
• Win new business by identifying prospective and untapped accounts.
• Create and deliver a data-led regional sales plan to drive growth.
• Lead broker meetings and presentations with clear objectives and follow-through.
• Track conversion, quality and volume, and maximize results.
• Use CRM to prioritise opportunities and maintain records.
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve broker experience and regional growth.
• Bring market intelligence to inform commercial decisions.
• Raise brand profile through events and activities.
• Deliver business results with integrity and regulatory compliance.
