Job summary

Dakota Hotels is seeking a Breakfast Assistant to support our morning service. You will greet guests, serve beverages and toast, take orders, and deliver meals with a smile.

In this role, you will act as a section waiter/waitress, provide personalised recommendations, and work closely with Bar and Kitchen teams to ensure smooth communication. A sociable, early-start mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year working experience in hospitality.
• Previous waiting or coffee shop experience is strongly preferred.
• Outgoing personality with effective communication skills.
• Ability to work at pace and be proactive during your shift.
• Detail-oriented with pride in work.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests as they enter the Grill and serve tea, coffee and toast.
• Take breakfast orders and provide table service, delivering meals to tables.
• Offer personalised dish and beverage recommendations to guests.
• Coordinate with Bar and Kitchen to ensure smooth communication.
• Maintain knowledge of the breakfast menu, including allergens.
