Job summary

Dakota Hospitality Limited (Dakota Hotels) is seeking a morning Breakfast Assistant in Glasgow to join our breakfast service. Typically finishing by midday, this role suits those with evening commitments.

Shifts are usually 6am-12pm, part-time, with 2 days out of 7. The position is permanent with 8 hours per week as listed. We are seeking a sociable, outgoing individual with hospitality experience and a proactive approach to guest service.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year working experience, ideally in a hospitality environment.
• Having previous waiting or coffee shop experience is strongly preferred.
• A sociable person who enjoys early morning starts.
• Be an outgoing personality with effective communication skills.
• Ability to work at pace and be proactive for the duration of your shift.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and take breakfast orders, serving tea, coffee and toast.
• Provide table service and carry large trays to guest tables.
• Offer personalised dish and beverage recommendations for a memorable dining experience.
• Coordinate with Bar and Kitchen teams for smooth service.
