Job summary

Dakota Hotels in Glasgow is seeking a Breakfast Assistant to join our morning team, delivering warm hospitality to guests as they start their day with tea, coffee, and a variety of breakfast offerings.

You will work as a section waiter, take orders, and ensure smooth service with the Bar and Kitchen teams, while showing initiative and attention to detail.

The ideal candidate has hospitality experience, is sociable, and eager to contribute to our positive culture.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year working experience in hospitality.
• Experience in waiting or coffee shop is preferred.
• Sociable person who enjoys early morning starts.
• Outgoing with effective communication skills.
• Able to work at pace and be proactive during shift.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and offer tea, coffee and toast, then take breakfast orders.
• Perform as a section waiter/waitress and serve meals to tables.
• Provide personalised dish and beverage recommendations to guests.
• Coordinate with Bar and Kitchen teams for smooth service flow.
• Maintain knowledge of the breakfast menu and allergens.
