Mitie Group plc. is seeking a Security Control Room Operator to join the team on a 4-on 4-off nights pattern (6pm–6am). The role involves coordinating guard coverage, managing shift rosters, logging activities, welfare checks, and incident reports.

You will use our ticketing portal to communicate and record details while maintaining high standards of accuracy. We value problem-solving, proactive communication, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Experience in a control room or security administration is helpful, but full training provided.
• Clear written and spoken English communication is essential.
• Tech-savvy and comfortable with computers and new systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in records and communications.

Responsibilities

• Arrange Security Guard Coverage: respond to coverage requests and ensure sites are supported, aligning with needs and availability.
• Manage Shift Schedules: create/update rosters using scheduling software; adapt to changes or emergencies.
• Log and Dispatch Jobs: record tasks, incidents, and welfare checks; assign responsibilities and follow up.
• Welfare Check‑in Calls: monitor wellbeing and escalate issues as needed.
• Report Incidents: document suspicious activity or incidents; prepare timely reports for management and clients.
• Effective Communication: act as main contact for officers, sites, and managers; share updates professionally.
• Accurate Record Keeping: maintain thorough records and ensure accuracy and compliance.
