Job summary

Otis Liverpool is seeking a Lift Modernization Engineer to join our North West team. You will work on elevator modernization projects, apply elevator engineering principles, read plans, and install equipment to exacting safety standards.

The role requires NVQ3 in elevators, a valid driver’s license, and strong electrical and mechanical skills. You will liaise with customers on site, stay away overnight when required, and receive intensive training, a company vehicle, tools, and a supportive work

Responsibility

• Work in a safe manner in accordance with all Environmental Health & Safety guidelines.
• Stay away overnight as and when required.
• Liaise directly with the customer while on site to build a good working relationship.
• Conduct inspection before and after installation to ensure high quality and safety standards.

What you will need to be successful

As a qualified mechanic, it is essential that you have knowledge of elevator equipment and that you can apply elevator engineering principles to Installation. You are qualified to install elevators to the standards set in your country You hold a driver's license Hold NVQ3 in elevators You have good electrical and mechanical skills. You are comfortable with plan reading and calculations. You have an appetite for technical products and new technologies. You appreciate manual trades as well as the satisfaction of seeing the finished work.
