Job summary

Otis Liverpool is seeking a Lift Tester NVQ4 qualified to support the North West & Central team. The successful candidate will be located in Manchester or Liverpool, test and commission new installations and modernisation projects, and prioritise passenger safety while maintaining a portfolio of elevator and escalator units.

On a typical day you will troubleshoot, collaborate with other branches on complex issues, and coach colleagues.

Qualifications

• NVQ4 or equivalent qualification.
• Experience testing and commissioning of new installations and Modernisation projects.
• Hold a valid driver’s license.
• Good skills in electricity and electrical engineering.
• Committed professional, with safety as priority.
• Comfortable communicating to others.
• Curious, adaptable, and able to work alone or in a team.
• Comfortable using electronic and digital tools.

Role Overview

What you will need to be successful

• Be qualified to NVQ 4 or equivalent.
• Experience test and commission of new installations and Modernisation projects.
• Hold a drivers license.
• You have good skills in electricity and electrical engineering.
• You are a committed professional, with safety as your priority.
• You are comfortable communicating to others.
• You are curious, adaptable, and you know how to work alone or in a team.
• You are comfortable using electronic and digital tools.
