Job summary

Otis London is seeking a Lift Engineer to be based in London to install and service elevators and escalators on customer sites across the city, ensuring safety, quality and on-time delivery while liaising with customers on site and in the office.

The ideal candidate has hands-on electrical and mechanical skills, knowledge of elevator equipment, a valid driver's license, and at least 6 months of elevator experience. Otis offers training, career progression, and a supportive, global team.

• Work in a safe manner in accordance with all Environmental Health & Safety guidelines.

• Conduct inspection before and after installation to ensure high quality and safety standards

What you will need to be successful

• As a qualified Engineer, it is essential that you have knowledge of elevator equipment and that you can apply elevator engineering principles to Installation.
• You are qualified to install elevators to the standards set in your country
• You hold a driver's license
• You have at least 6 months of experience in the field of elevators, ideally acquired in the assembly activity or at least experience on site and / or installation
• You have good electrical and mechanical skills. You are comfortable with plan reading and calculations.
• You have an appetite for technical products and new technologies. You appreciate manual trades as well as the satisfaction of seeing the finished work.
