A leading regional law firm in London is seeking a Modern Workplace Associate to provide IT support and ensure effective use of technology. You will help new starters with laptop setups and support users across applications like Microsoft 365 and Azure Virtual Desktop. Ideal candidates will have experience in user-facing IT roles and exhibit a friendly attitude. The role requires on-site presence to enhance user experience and resolve issues face-to-face.

The Modern Workplace Associate is the frontline of the firm’s technology function. The role is responsible for ensuring colleagues can work effectively from day one and every day thereafter. This includes preparing laptops for new starters, resolving hardware and software issues quickly, and providing calm, clear support when users encounter challenges with tools such as Microsoft 365 and Azure Virtual Desktop.
This role removes high-volume, hands‑on end‑user computing (EUC) activity from senior engineers, allowing them to focus on platform stability, security, and strategic improvement.

You will be enrolled into our scheme which provides cashback on a range of health services.
All employees are entitled to join our auto‑enrolment pension scheme. You will be enrolled in the pension after 3 months of employment dependent on age and salary.
We have a minimum of 25 days across the firm and you will receive an additional day’s holiday after every completed year of service to a total maximum of 30 days. You are also able to carry over up to 5 days of unused holiday entitlement.
If your birthday falls on a working day, you can have that day off as an extra day’s leave.
We include family friendly policies when after two years’ service you will be eligible for our enhanced maternity, paternity and adoption leave.
All employees will be entitled to 2 x salary.
After one year’s service, you will be entitled to a contribution towards legal fees.
We offer up to £2,000 (dependent on level of seniority) referral bonus to say thank you for introducing a job candidate that becomes employed by J&P and passes their probation.
After probation, you are entitled to apply for an interest‑free advance for a season ticket to use public transport to reach your place of work.
