Job summary

Cadillac Formula 1 Team at our Silverstone facility is seeking skilled wind tunnel model makers to manufacture, assemble, and test high-quality components for aerodynamic development. You will work across the Model Shop and Wind Tunnel environments with a focus on precision and meeting tight deadlines.

Applicants should have proven wind tunnel model preparation experience in a high-performance motorsport context, with strong attention to detail and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in wind tunnel model preparation and testing.
• Background in model-making within a high-performance motorsport environment.
• Strong understanding of mechanical installations and assemblies.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture wind tunnel model parts and assemblies to the highest standards while meeting demanding project deadlines.
• Support the Model Shop team in managing workloads and achieving departmental targets.
• Build and maintain complex mechanical assemblies for wind tunnel models.
• Identify technical issues and assist in troubleshooting and problem-solving activities.
• Collaborate with Model Design Engineers to improve the efficiency, functionality, and quality of model changes and components.
• Support and maintain Health & Safety standards within the working environment.
• Travel regularly as required to support team activities and testing operations.

In this role, you will be part of a dedicated team working across the Model Shop and Wind Tunnel environments to manufacture, assemble, and test high-quality components for aerodynamic development and wind tunnel testing.
