Job summary

Danny Sullivan Group is seeking an experienced CPCS Slinger Signaller to join long-term MOD infrastructure projects at RAF Brize Norton. The role involves safe lifting, signalling and directing crane operations on a major national project with ongoing work through 2026 and beyond.

We offer PAYE rates from £18.75 per hour with overtime and night allowances, weekly pay, and a secure, site-based role on a high-profile defence site. Security inductions and site procedures apply.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Slinger Signaller on a construction or civil engineering site.
• Knowledge of safe lifting and signalling procedures.
• Experience around cranes, heavy plant and lifting operations.

Responsibilities

• Safely sling and signal loads for lifting operations.
• Direct crane movements using approved signalling procedures.
• Inspect lifting accessories and equipment before use.
• Communicate clearly with crane operators and site teams.
• Guide loads into position while maintaining safe exclusion zones.
• Report damaged lifting equipment immediately.
• Follow lifting plans, method statements and site procedures.
