Job summary

Danny Sullivan Group is recruiting a CPCS Slinger Signaller for long-term work at RAF Brize Norton. You will ensure safe lifting operations on a major MOD infrastructure project with ongoing work through 2026 and beyond.

The role requires a valid CPCS Slinger Signaller card, experience on construction sites, and the ability to work within a busy team on a secure site; weekly pay and long-term opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Valid CPCS Slinger Signaller card
• Previous experience as Slinger Signaller on construction or civil site
• Good knowledge of safe lifting and signalling procedures
• Experience around cranes and lifting operations
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking attitude
• Ability to work well in a busy site team

Responsibilities

• Safely sling and signal loads for lifting operations
• Direct crane and lifting operations using signalling procedures
• Inspect lifting accessories and equipment
• Communicate with crane operators and site teams
• Guide loads into position and maintain exclusion zones
• Assist with movement of materials around site
• Carry out pre-use checks on lifting gear
• Report damaged equipment and follow site procedures
• Maintain a safe, clean and organised work area
• Follow MOD site procedures at all times
