Job summary

RAC is recruiting for a Mobile Vehicle Technician in the SMR division. You will perform routine servicing, diagnostics with mobile equipment, and in-depth repairs at members' locations, delivering guidance based on inspections and ensuring RAC safety standards are met.

This role offers a fixed 40-hour week with potential overtime, a van and tools provided, and opportunities to earn up to £52,000 OTE through overtime and bonuses. Based in East England with multiple location options.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years' experience or 5+ years' experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic and a full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine servicing.
• Perform diagnostics using advanced mobile equipment.
• Complete in-depth repairs you'd normally perform in a workshop.
• Provide member advice and recommendations based on inspection.
• Conduct vehicle safety checks aligned to RAC standards.
