Job summary

RAC in the Bath cluster is recruiting a Mobile Vehicle Technician for its SMR division, delivering planned, pre-booked work on members' driveways and in car parks. You’ll diagnose with mobile gear, perform routine servicing and in-depth repairs, and advise members on findings to keep vehicles safe and reliable.

There are no emergency callouts; you’ll work a 40-hour week with core hours 8:30–17:00 and one in four Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Diagnostics using advanced mobile equipment.
• Routine servicing.
• In-depth repairs you'd normally complete in a workshop.
• Vehicle safety checks aligned to RAC standards.
