Job summary

The RAC is expanding its SMR division with Mobile Vehicle Technicians to deliver planned, on‑driveway servicing and diagnostics. You’ll operate on a pre‑booked schedule across the Cheltenham cluster, focusing on quality workmanship away from emergencies.

Qualifications

• Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent).
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a vehicle technician working on light vehicles.
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Routine servicing
• Diagnostics using mobile equipment
• In‑depth repairs you’d normally complete in a workshop
• Member advice and recommendations based on inspection
• Vehicle safety checks aligned to RAC standards
