The RAC is recruiting Mobile Mechanics for its Service, Maintenance & Repair (SMR) division in Maidstone. You will service pre-booked appointments across local areas, performing routine servicing, diagnostics and in‑depth repairs with modern mobile equipment.

You will follow a clear schedule, with a 40-hour week (8:30–17:00) and occasional Saturdays, and you can boost earnings through overtime and bonuses while developing your technical career within the RAC family.

Qualificações

• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years' experience
• or 5+ years' experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points

Responsabilidades

• Routine servicing
• Diagnostics using advanced mobile equipment
• In-depth repairs you'd normally complete in a workshop
• Member advice and recommendations based on your inspection
• Vehicle safety checks aligned to RAC standards
• From day one, you'll have everything you need: a fully equipped RAC van, fuel card, uniform, full tool set and advanced diagnostics. You'll use your technical skill and problem‑solving ability to get people moving again; safely, quickly and confidently
