The RAC is seeking a Mobile Vehicle Technician for the SMR division in Kent. You will work on a pre-booked schedule, performing servicing, diagnostics and repairs using mobile equipment. No emergency callouts; you’ll be on a planned route with a RAC van and full toolset.

You’ll cover Maidstone and surrounding areas, with a fixed 40-hour week and optional overtime and bonus opportunities. Emphasis on quality work, safety checks, and member satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a vehicle technician working on light vehicles.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points is required.

Responsabilités

• Diagnostics using advanced mobile equipment.
• Routine servicing and in-depth repairs performed away from the workshop.
• Vehicle safety checks aligned to RAC standards.
