Job summary

You will join the RAC as a Mobile Vehicle Technician in our SMR Division, delivering planned, on‑driveway servicing and diagnostics with a fully equipped RAC van. You’ll operate on a predefined schedule across Bridgwater and surrounding areas, avoiding reactive callouts and aiming for high quality repairs.

Qualifications

• Either: NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience.
• Or 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic and a full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Routine servicing
• Diagnostics using advanced mobile equipment
• In-depth repairs you’d normally complete in a workshop
• Member advice and recommendations based on your inspection
• Vehicle safety checks aligned to RAC standards
