Job summary

Rac Motoring Services is hiring a Mobile Vehicle Technician for the SMR division, covering the Gloucester cluster. You will perform planned, pre-booked maintenance and diagnostics using mobile equipment, with a focus on quality repairs and safety checks. Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent required.
• 2+ years' experience or 5+ years' experience as Vehicle Technician/Mechanic with full UK driving license (<6 points).
• Diagnostics experience with mobile equipment and routine servicing knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine servicing and in-depth repairs.
• Diagnose issues using mobile equipment and provide recommendations to members.
• Work on scheduled appointments with pre-booked work.
• Ensure vehicle safety checks meet RAC standards.
• Maintain clear communication with customers and document work.
