Job summary

The RAC is recruiting a Mobile Vehicle Technician for its SMR division. You’ll work on pre-booked appointments across the Bridgwater cluster with a fully equipped RAC van and tools, delivering planned servicing and repairs with professional customer interactions.

Expect a 40-hour week (core hours 8:30 am–5:00 pm) with 1 in 4 Saturdays. Earn £40,170 base with OTE up to £52,000, plus overtime and benefits from day one.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years' experience.
• 5+ years' experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

• In-depth repairs you’d normally complete in a workshop
• Member advice and recommendations based on your inspection
