Job summary

The RAC is expanding its Service, Maintenance & Repair (SMR) team in the Bath area. As a Mobile Vehicle Technician you will service, diagnose, and repair customers' vehicles on-site at their homes or workplaces, following scheduled pre-booked jobs.

You will use advanced mobile diagnostics, carry out routine servicing and in-depth repairs, and provide advice based on your inspection, guided by a clear digital schedule.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent).
• 2+ years’ experience or 5+ years as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Routine servicing.
• Diagnostics using advanced mobile equipment.
• In-depth repairs you’d normally complete in a workshop.
• Member advice and recommendations based on your inspection.
• Vehicle safety checks aligned to RAC standards.
