Job summary

Join Halfords as a Mobile Vehicle Technician and become part of our Mobile Expert team, delivering workshop-quality servicing, maintenance and repair work at customers' homes and workplaces. Working from a fully equipped van with smart tech, you’ll manage your day, build trusted customer relationships and keep the nation moving.

The role offers a base salary of £31,025 with a typical on-target earnings of £33,725 including a monthly bonus of about £2,700 per year, over a 44-hour week with

Qualifications

• NVQ level 2 or 3 in vehicle maintenance & repair (or time-served experience).
• Proven experience in vehicle servicing & maintenance.
• Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Great communication skills and confidence dealing with customers.

Responsibilities

• Interim, full and major vehicle services.
• Brake pad, shoe and disc replacement.
• Steering, suspension and brake repairs.
• Vehicle inspections and fault diagnostics.
• Tyre fitting, puncture repairs and wheel balancing.
• Air conditioning servicing and re-gassing.

What we're looking for
