Responsibilities

You'll play a vital part in keeping people, property and information safe. That includes:

Carry out tasks including locks/unlocks, patrols (internal/external), alarm responses, vacant property checks and escort services.
Maintain a courteous, professional and helpful attitude when engaging with clients, their staff and colleagues.
Ensure thorough handovers at the start and end of each shift.
Respond to ad hoc requests from Mobile Dispatch, facilitating smooth communication and coordination across shifts.
Communicate effectively with team members, reallocating tasks as needed to maintain operational efficiency.
Ensure all personnel are correctly uniformed and equipped and conduct detailed vehicle handovers.
Operate company vehicles responsibly, adhering to the Highway Code and representing the company professionally.
Follow key management protocols, assignment instructions and escalation procedures during incidents.
Use GRS / SMP systems to document activities with appropriate photos and details, ensuring compliance.
Mentor new and existing staff, attend training sessions and demonstrate commitment to Securitas Core Values: Integrity, Vigilance and Helpfulness.

Qualifications

What we are looking for:

A valid SIA licence
Full UK manual driving licence
The right to work in the UK with a 5‑year checkable history
Willingness to learn and adapt
Reliable and flexible with shift patterns
Honest, hard‑working and trustworthy
Able to work as part of a team and also independently
Proactive and able to use own initiative
Strong communication skills in English – both written and spoken
Minimum of 1 year (preferred but not essential) experience in mobile security.
