Job summary

Gold Group in London – Camden is seeking a Mobile BMS Engineer to manage maintenance across a diverse portfolio of schools, hospitals, offices and government buildings. You will handle scheduled and reactive tasks, ensuring reliable BMS operation.

The role requires experience with major BMS platforms (Trend/Tridium/Distech/Siemens/Niagara) and a City & Guild / BTEC / NVQ in Electrical or BEMS, plus a full UK driving license and BPSS vetting.

Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance on BMS systems across multiple sites.
• Respond to breakdowns and participate in a reactive call-out rota with on-call benefits.

Brief

Mobile BMS Engineer needed for a large well known Facilities Management organisation based in London - Camden who are looking to employ a number of experienced and well-rounded Mobile BMS Engineer's that takes pride in their work.

The successful candidates will manage a variety of essential planned and reactive tasks across the clients diverse portfolio, Schools, Hospitals, Offices, Business Parks and Government Buildings.

The successful candidate must have experience of at least one of the following - Trend, Tridium, Distech, Siemens or Niagara. Along with also holding a City & Guild / BTEC / NVQ in Electrical or BEMS field.

What the role entails:

Some of the main duties of the Mobile BMS Engineer will include:

• Preventative Maintenance: Carrying out scheduled maintenance checks on BMS systems and components to ensure smooth operation across various sites.
• Reactive Calls: Responding to breakdowns when things go wrong. This role involves participating in a reactive call-out rota, which includes additional financial benefits for on-call availability and attendance.
• Continuous Improvement: Working with other engineer colleagues to help make recommendations to our clients to enhance system performance and energy efficiency. This will require teams to complete thorough reports and build up clear cost estimates & quotes for system enhancements.

What experience you need to be the successful Mobile BMS Engineer:

• City & Guild / BTEC / NVQ in Electrical or BEMS
• Knowledge and Experience of at least one of the following (additional training can be provided depending on the area requirements at a later date):
• Trend

• Distech
• Siemens
• Niagara
• Knowledge & experience of HVAC and mechanical systems in a commercial environment
• Full UK Driving License
